About Cibello

Why Cibello exists

Most recipe apps start from recipes. We wanted to start from the kitchen: what is actually in the fridge, freezer and pantry, what is about to expire and what the household tends to like. That is why the core of Cibello is a food inventory, your “Food Twin”, built from photos, receipts and barcodes. Recipes, the weekly plan, the shopping list and reminders all rest on the same data. The aim is less everyday stress and less food waste, without nagging.

How we think about AI

AI makes Cibello possible, but it is sometimes wrong. Scanning can misread an item, miss something at the back or guess a wrong date. That is why you always review results before they are saved, and why suggestions are only suggestions. Recipe and allergy filters are guidance, never a guarantee, and nutrition values are planning estimates, not dietary advice. Cibello's own models train only on your corrections and, if you opt in separately, on sanitised images. Both options are off by default. See the privacy policy.

Your data

Everything is stored in the EU. You can view your data in the app and delete your account whenever you want, without contacting support. We do not sell personal data.

The company

Cibello is developed and owned by LandveX AB, registration number 559141-7042, Antennvägen 2, 135 48 Tyresö, Sweden. The app is available for iOS and Android in twelve languages and is built in Sweden. For now it is intended for people aged 18 or over, because the terms of the AI service it uses require adult users. The trial is 14 days without a card.
