Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken breast
- 250 g Egg noodles
- 1 pcs Bell pepper
- 2 pcs Carrot
- 1 pcs Yellow onion
- 2 clove Garlic
- 20 g Ginger
- 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 4 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (optional)
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 1 ml Black pepper
Method
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent them from sticking together.
- Slice the chicken breast into strips. Slice the bell pepper, carrot, and onion. Finely chop the garlic and grate the ginger.
- Heat rapeseed oil in a large wok or frying pan over high heat. Fry the chicken in batches until cooked through and nicely browned. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Add more rapeseed oil if needed. Add the onion, carrot, and bell pepper to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften but still have a bit of crunch.
- Add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for another 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the pan. Add the teriyaki sauce and soy sauce. Mix well and let everything heat through.
- Toss the cooked noodles into the wok. Mix gently so the noodles are coated with the sauce and vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve the stir-fry immediately, preferably topped with sesame seeds.
